Malachi – Malaki

To Our Forefathers Yisrael

1 The burden of The Word of YHUH to Yisrael by Malachi.

2 I have loved you, says YHUH.Yet you say, In what derech have You loved us? Was not Esav Yaakov’s brother? Says YHUH: yet I loved Yaakov,

3 And I hated Esav and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the jackals of the wilderness.

4 Yet Edom says, We are beaten down, but we will return and rebuild the desolate places. This says YHUH Tzevaot, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The borders of wickedness and, The people against whom YHUH has indignation le-olam-va-ed.

5 And your eyes shall see and you shall say,YHUH will be magnified from beyond the borders of Yisrael.

6 A son honors his abba and an eved his master: if then I YHUH AM an Abba, where is My kavod? And if I YHUH AM a Master, where is reverence for Me? Says YHUH Tzevaot to you, O kohanim, that despise My Name. And you say, In what derech have we despised Your Name?

7 You offer unclean foods upon My altar; and you say, In what derech have we polluted You? By saying, The shulchan of YHUH is despicable.

8 And if you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And if you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? Offer it now to your governor; will he be pleased with you, or will he accept you favorably? Says YHUH Tzevaot.

9 And now, seek the face of El that He will show unmerited chen to us: this disaster has been brought on by your own doing; so I will not show you chen, says YHUH Tzevaot.

10 Who is there among you that would guard My doors, or kindle a fire on My altar for nothing? I have no pleasure in you, says YHUH Tzevaot, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

11 For from the rising of the shemesh even to the going down of the same My Name shall be great among the goyim; and in every place incense shall be offered to My Name and a pure offering: for My Name shall be great among the goyim says YHUH Tzevaot.

12 But you have profaned it, in that you say, The shulchan of YHUH is polluted; and its fruit, even its food, is despicable.

13 You said also, Behold, what a burden is it! And you have sneered at it, says YHUH Tzevaot; and you brought that which was torn and the lame and the sick; this you brought as My offering: should I accept this from your hand? Says YHUH.

14 But cursed be the deceiver, who has in his flock a perfect male and vows and yet sacrifices to YHUH a corrupt thing: for I YHUH AM a great Melech, says YHUH Tzevaot and My Name is feared among the goyim.

2 And now, O kohanim, this commandment is for you.

2 If you will not listen and if you will not take it to lev, to give tifereth to My Name, says YHUH Tzevaot, I will even send a curse upon you and I will curse your brachot: yes, I have cursed them already because you do not take it to lev.

3 Behold, I will corrupt your zera and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your moadeem; and one shall take you away with it.

4 And you shall know that I have sent this commandment to you, that My brit might be with Lewi, says YHUH Tzevaot.

5 My brit was with him for chayim and shalom; and I gave them to him for the fear by which he feared Me and was in awe of My Name.

6 The Torah of emet was in his mouth and iniquity was not found in his lips: he had his halacha with Me in shalom and equity and did turn many away from their iniquity.

7 For the kohen’s lips should keep da’at and they should seek the Torah at his mouth: for he is the messenger of YHUH Tzevaot.

8 But you have departed from the derech; you have caused many to stumble at the Torah; you have corrupted the brit of Lewi, says YHUH Tzevaot.

9 Therefore have I also made you despicable and low before all the people, according as you have not kept My halachot, but have showed partiality in applying the Torah.

10 Have we not all one Abba? Has not one El created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the brit of our ahvot?

11 Yahudah has dealt treacherously and an abomination is committed in Yisrael and in Yahrushalayim; for Yahudah has profaned the set apartness of YHUH which He loved and has married the daughter of a strange ahlahim.

12 YHUH will cut off the man that does this, also his son and his son’s son, out of the tabernacles of Yaakov, and him that offers an offering to YHUH Tzevaot.

13 And this have you done again, covering the altar of YHUH with tears, with weeping and with crying, so that He regards not the offering anymore, or receives it with tov will from your hand.

14 Yet you say, Why? Because YHUH has been a witness between you and the isha of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously: yet she is your companion and the isha of your brit.

15 And did not He make them echad? And the rest of the ruachim are His also. And why echad? That he might seek a zera from Ahlohim. Therefore take heed to your ruach and let none deal treacherously against the isha of his youth.

16 For YHUH, the Ahlohim of Yisrael, says that He hates putting away an isha without a Sefer Keritut: like the one who covers his sin with his garment, says YHUH Tzevaot: therefore guard your ruach, that you deal not treacherously with her.

17 You have wearied YHUH with your words. Yet you say, In what derech have we wearied Him? When you say, Everyone that does evil is tov in the sight of YHUH and He delights in them, or Where is the Ahlohim of mishpat?

3 Behold, I will send My messenger and he shall prepare the derech before Me: and The Master, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to His Hekal, even the Messenger of The Brit, whom you delight in: see, He shall come, says YHUH Tzevaot.

2 But who may endure the yom of His coming? And who shall stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like launderers’ soap:

3 And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the children of Lewi and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to YHUH an offering in tzedakah.

4 Then shall the offering of Yahudah and Yahrushalayim be pleasant to YHUH, as in the yamim of old and as in former years.

5 And I will come near to you for mishpat; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against false swearers and against those that oppress the wage earner in his wages, the widow and the fatherless and that turn away the ger from his rights in Yisrael, and fear Me not, says YHUH Tzevaot.

6 For I AM YHUH, I change not; therefore you sons of Yaakov are not consumed.

7 Even from the yamim of your ahvot you have gone away from My Torot and have not guarded them. Make teshuvah to Me and I will return to you, says YHUH Tzevaot. But you said, In what derech shall we make teshuvah?

8 Will a man rob Ahlohim ? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, In what derech have we robbed You? In the ma’aser and the terumah.

9 You are cursed with a curse: for you have robbed Me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring all the ma’aser into the storehouse, that there may be food in My House, and prove Me now in this thing, says YHUH Tzevaot, if I will not open to you the windows of the shamayim and pour you out a bracha, so that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before its time in the field, says YHUH Tzevaot.

12 And all goyim shall call you blessed: for you shall be a land of delight, says YHUH Tzevaot.

13 Your words have been harsh against Me, says YHUH. Yet you say, What have we spoken against You?

14 You have said, It is worthless to serve Ahlohim: and what profit is it that we have kept His Torot and that we have had our halacha in meekness before YHUH Tzevaot?

15 So now we will call the proud happy; yes, they that work wickedness are lifted up; yes, they that test Ahlohim, even they are delivered.

16 Then they that feared YHUH spoke often one to another: and YHUH listened and heard it and a Scroll of Remembrance was written before Him for them that fear YHUH and that thought upon His Name.

17 And they shall be Mine, says YHUH Tzevaot, in that yom when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves him.

18 Then shall you make teshuvah, and discern between the tzadik and the wicked, between him that serves YHUH and him that serves Him not.

4 For, see, the yom comes, that shall burn as an oven;and all the proud, yes and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the yom that comes shall burn them up, says YHUH Tzevaot, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But to you that fear My Name shall the Shemesh of Tzedakah arise with healing in His four-cornered tzitzit; and you shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall.

3 And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the yom that I shall do this, says YHUH Tzevaot.

4 Remember the Torah of Moshe My eved, which I commanded to him in Horev for kol Yisrael, with the chukim and mishpatim.

5 Behold, I will send you Eliyahu the Tishbite-ha navi before the coming of the great and dreadful Yom YHUH:

6 And he shall restore the lev of The Father to The Son, and the lev of a man to his neighbor lest I come and smite the earth with a curse through utter destruction. Ahmein. X

MALACHI

  • 1:11 Through the Good News, YAH’s Name is being restored and declared among the nations once again, after being banned by religion for 2,500 years, or so. The nations (or Efrayim) are doing the proclaiming in obedience to and in accord with, the Good News.

  • 1:14 See note on verse 11.

  • 2:2 Israel and her leaders have no choice. Withholding the true Name (regardless of the excuse) will result in a curse from YAH. This is plain and simple for all to understand.

  • 2:3 Keeping the feasts without giving esteem to YAH’s Name and obeying His Torah results in corruption.

  • 2:3 One of the reasons (among many) that Jewish-Israel was exiled was the denial and desecration of the Name.

  • 2:5 Lewi and the kohanim used to be in love with His Name, to proclaim and seek shelter in it, until the rabbinical ban pronounced around 350 BCE changed that.

  • 2:10 Judah and Efrayim need to get this settled.

  • 2:11 Both houses stand guilty before YAH.

  • 2:12 That is exactly what happened to both houses as they were removed from the Tabernacle of Dawid that had fallen.

  • 2:14 Rampant divorce in both houses of Israel was another reason for our exile.

  • 2:15 Aramaic Peshitta.

  • 2:15 That Israel would collectively be His son.

  • 2:16 DSS, LXX: “For if you hate and divorce” says YAH Elohim of Israel.

  • 2:17 False accusations cause YAH to quickly lose patience.

  • 3:1 First-century Nazarene Yisraelite Torah believers were first known as members of “the Derech.”

  • 3:1 Yochanan HaMatbeel/John the Baptist.

  • 3:1 Notice YAH who is coming to Jerusalem, speaks here in the first person.

  • 3:1 YAH in the manifestation of Messiah.

  • 3:1 With great surprise to Israel as to His identity.

  • 3:1 A response to chapter 2 verse 17. “Where is the Elohim of right- ruling?” He is coming in person, physically to His Temple.

  • 3:1 Messiah the messenger of the Renewed Covenant, with both houses according to Jeremiah 31:31.

  • 3:2 Messiah's mission is to fully refine and clean up all Israel.

  • 3:2 This is YAH speaking about YAH.

  • 3:3 He will cleanse and restore the kohanim of Israel as well by returning the priesthood back to the Zadokites, the sons of Kohath..

  • 3:5 Messiah came to fix the pride of those who do not let non-Jewish Yisraelites back into full commonwealth rights and citizenship.

  • 3:6 What an eternally comforting truth. Since YAH changes not, Israel is His only eternal collective bride.

  • 3:10 DSS. Houses, or tithes for both houses of Israel.

  • 3:11 s.a.tan.

  • 3:16 Regular, or casual conversation.

  • 3:16 A special book.

  • 3:16 This is neither the Lamb’s Book of Eternal Life nor the Book of Life. This is a special book for those believers who walk in Torah and who use, pronounce, worship, sing and have casual conversations between themselves and others, using YAH’s true and wonderful Name. The context here is that YAH listens even to casual conversation amongst believers using His real and true Name. This verse speaks against those who claim we are not to use YAH’s Name in casual conversation.

  • 3:17 Referring to true Name believers, who are called jewels in the nation.

  • 3:17 Spared from YAH’s wrath.

  • 3:18 In the end-time restoration and regathering of all Israel.

  • 3:18 In context here, those who use the correct Name serve Him and those who do not, or stubbornly refuse to use the correct Name due to religious tradition, do not serve Him, These are YAH’s words, not man’s opinion.

  • 4:1 The end of lost humans is to be burned and cease to exist.

  • 4:2 Fearing His Name is again associated with right-standing before YAH and eternal life.

  • 4:2 Messiah’s fringes will grow and mature us into a full healing in our return to Israel.

  • 4:3 End of the lost is annihilation, not eternal life in hell.

  • 4:4 Remembering His Torah is a mark of returning Israel. In the restoration of Israel, all Israel will keep His Torah, since YAH states that it was given for all Israel, not just for Jewish-Israel.

  • 4:5 LXX-Elijah in person, not just in spirit, will announce the coming of the kingdom as the day that is great for redeemed Israel, but dreadful for those who are not regenerated Israel.

  • 4:6 LXX-The Father to His Son the nation of Israel and the nation back to The Father. In addition, we will love our neighbor as ourselves, a call by YAH back to the two greatest commandments of Torah.

  • 4:6 Second greatest commandment.

  • 4:6 The restoration and regathering of Israel back to Torah and the land, is what withholds the earth from an eternal curse. Our presence here and our return to Israel spiritually and physically, allows YAH to lift any curse on the earth.
