The Prayer of Azariah-Tefillat Azaryah
A Praise To The Fourth In The Fire
1 They walked around in the midst of the flames, singing shirim to Ahlohim and blessing YHUH.
2 Then Azaryah stood still in the fire and made tefillah out loud:
3 Blessed are you, YHUH Ahlohim of our ancestors and worthy of all tehillot and esteemed is your Name le-olam-va-ed.
4 For You are just in all You have done; all Your works are emet and Your halachot tzadik and all your mishpatim are emet.
5 You have executed emet mishpat in all You have brought upon us and upon Yahrushalayim, the kadosh city of our ancestors; by an emet mishpat, You have brought all this upon us because of our sins.
6 For we have sinned and broken Your Torah in turning away from You; in all matters we have sinned grievously.
7 We have not obeyed your mitzvoth, we have not kept them or done what you have commanded us for our own tov.
8 So all that You have brought upon us and all that You have done to us, You have done by an emet mishpat.
9 You have handed us over to our enemies, Torahless and hateful rebels and to an unjust melech, the most wicked in all the world.
10 And now we cannot open our mouths; we, Your avadim who worship You, have become a shame and a reproach.
11 For Your Name’s sake do not give us up le-olam-va-ed and do not annul your brit.
12 Do not withdraw your rachamim from us, for the sake of Avraham your beloved and for the sake of your eved Yitzchak and Yisrael your kadosh one.
13 To whom you promised to multiply their descendants like the cochavim of the shamayim and like the sand on the shore of the sea.
14 For we, YHUH, have become fewer than any other nation and are brought low this yom in all the olam because of our sins.
15 In our yom we have no ruler, or navi, or leader, no burnt offering, or sacrifice, or oblation, or incense, no place to make an offering before You and to find rachamim.
16 Yet with a contrite lev and a humble ruach may we be accepted.
17 As though it were with burnt offerings of rams and bulls, or with tens of thousands of the fat of lambs; such may our sacrifice be in Your sight this yom and may we unreservedly follow You, for no shame will come to those who trust in You.
18 And now with all our lev we follow You; we fear You and seek Your presence.
19 Do not put us to shame, but deal with us in Your patience and in your abundant rachamim.
20 Deliver us in accordance with your marvelous works and bring esteem to Your Name, YAHUSHA.
21 Let all who do harm to Your avadim be put to shame; let them be disgraced and deprived of all power and let their strength be broken.
22 Let them know that you alone are YHUH, ruling in esteem over the whole olam.
23 Now the melech’s avadim who threw them in kept stoking the furnace with tar, flax fibers and brushwood.
24 And the flames poured out above the furnace forty nine cubits.
25 And spread out and burned those Chaldeans who were caught near the furnace.
26 But the Malach YHUH came down into the furnace to be with Azaryah and his companions and drove the fiery flame out of the furnace.
27 And made the inside of the furnace as though it were a moist ruach were whistling through it. The fire did not touch them at all and caused them no pain or distress.
28 Then the three with one voice gave hodu and esteem and blessed YHUH in the furnace:
29 Blessed are you, YAHUSHA of our ancestors; be esteemed and highly exalted le-olam-va-ed.
30 And blessed is Your esteemed, kadosh Name to be highly praised and highly exalted le-olam-va-ed.
31 Blessed are you in the Beit HaMikdash of Your kadosh esteem and to be extolled and highly lifted up le-olam-va-ed.
32 Blessed are You who look into the depths from Your kesay between the cheruvim to be praised and highly exalted le-olam-va-ed.
33 Blessed are You on the kesay of Your malchut to be extolled and highly exalted le-olam-va-ed.
34 Blessed are You in the raqiyah of the shamayim to be worshipped and esteemed le-olam-va-ed.
35 Bless YHUH, all you works of YHUH; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
36 Bless YHUH, you shamayim; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
37 Bless YHUH, you malachim of YHUH; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
38 Bless YHUH, all you mayim above the shamayim; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
39 Bless YHUH, all you powers of YHUH; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
40 Bless YHUH, shemesh and yarayach; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
41 Bless YHUH, cochavim of the shamayim; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
42 Bless YHUH, all rain and dew; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
43 Bless YHUH, all you ruachim; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
44 Bless YHUH fire and heat; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
45 Bless YHUH, winter cold and summer heat; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
46 Bless YHUH, dews and falling snow; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
47 Bless YHUH, nights and yamim, shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
48 Bless YHUH, ohr and darkness; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
49 Bless YHUH, ice and cold; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
50 Bless YHUH, frosts and snows; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
51 Bless YHUH, lightnings and clouds; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
52 Let the earth bless YHUH; let it shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
53 Bless YHUH, mountains and hills; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
54 Bless YHUH, all that grows in the ground; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
55 Bless YHUH, seas and rivers; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
56 Bless YHUH, you springs, shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
57 Bless YHUH you whales and all that swim in the mayim; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
58 Bless YHUH, all birds of the air; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
59 Bless YHUH, all wild animals and cattle; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
60 Bless YHUH, all people on earth; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
61 Bless YHUH, O Yisrael; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
62 Bless YHUH you kohanim of YHUH shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
63 Bless YHUH, you avadim of YHUH, shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
64 Bless YHUH, ruachim and naphshoth of the tzadikim; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
65 Bless YHUH, you who are kadosh and humble in lev; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed.
66 Bless YHUH, Chananyah, Azaryah, and Mishael; shir tehillot to Him and highly exalt Him le-olam-va-ed. For He has rescued us from Sheol and saved us from the power of death and delivered us from the midst of the burning fiery furnace; from the midst of the fire, He has delivered us.
67 Give hodu to YHUH, for He is tov, for His rachamim endures le-olam-va-ed.
68 All who worship YHUH, bless the Ahlohim of all ahlohim, shir tehillot to Him and give hodu to Him, for His rachamim endures le-olam-va-ed. X
